It gives me immense pleasure to announce the launch of cutting tools dedicated blog-site https://www.rakeangle.com I hope it will be helpful to many people who are associated with the Metal Cutting Industry. I have spent more than 23 Years in working with Metal Working Tools and during this tenure I gained vast experience and knowledge about cutting tools.

Now it’s time to give it back

As my career progressed, I worked with industry leading cutting tools manufacturers.They imparted me trainings as well as provided opportunities to understand customers’ requirements and offering solutions. In a later stage of career; became Authorized Dealer for various cutting tools companies and promoted their products. Now, the question is, what to do with such a rich experience? The first answer was “Share it” That’s sounds good; share your experience &share your knowledge. I felt that now it’s time to give it back to the cutting tools community from where I learnt a lot. What is the best tool to share your information or ideas? In today’s world there are many internet tools are available such as blog-sites, social networking portals, messengers etc. It prompted me to launch a blog-site and associate social networking portals and messengers to the blog-site.

What’s in the name?

Now,the first hurdle; to find a perfect name for the site. People says; what’s in the name? But a name is an important factor in todays world. I narrowed down the requirements to choose the domain. The name should be an important characteristic of the cutting tool. When thoughts were given to choose a perfect name, a name flashed; how about Rake Angle? I immediately searched for the domain name and checked whether it’s available. Luckily rakeangle.com was available and I bought it. Now, a meaningful & perfect name is there to share my experience.

The platform has been set-up. The next question; what would be the contents in this blog site? In general it will be all around cutting tools. It is too early to state about the contents, however below is an initial list of the contents to be shared.
